The problem
Schools were juggling attendance, grading, report cards and parent communication across spreadsheets and paper. EduIgnite consolidates all of it into one platform with role-based access for administrators, teachers and parents.
What I built
- A Next.js + Django web platform with a typed REST API.
- Mobile and desktop apps (React Native / Electron) sharing the same backend, each with CI-driven auto-releases.
- AWS infrastructure: EC2 + systemd services (gunicorn, Celery worker/beat) and Redis for background jobs.
- Cross-account consistency so parents always render the official report card, never a local rebuild.
Outcome
Three coordinated apps shipping continuously, with a release pipeline that turns a commit into a versioned installer without manual steps.
